Northern Virginia Theatre Alliance: $1000 scholarship for performance,and $1000 for technical theater. Seniors who will enroll in dramatic/musical theater performance or technical theatre program. Minimum 2.5 GPA. Performance scholarship – 5 minute presentation to include 1 comedy and 1 dramatic monologue or 1 monologue and 1 song followed by short interview. Technical scholarship – submit 3-D presentationin set design or 2-D presentation in lighting design, costume design or makup/hair design at time of interview. Scholarships are given for outstanding essays which demonstrate an appreciation of the exemplary character and soldierly virtues of Generals Lee and Jackson. VA: Shenandoah University - Winchester VA- Presidential Scholarship - highly selective, limited scholarship available to incoming freshmen - minimum high school GPA of 3.8 and SAT score of 1200. Scholastic and community activities are also considered in the evaluation. Recipients receive $16,000 annually for four years, must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and enroll in at least 12 credit hours a semester. Students cannot receive both a Presidential Scholarship and an Academic Scholarship.
