The purpose of the partnership between Brentsville District High School and Synergy One Federal Credit Union is to increase students’ understanding of personal finance (checking and savings accounts, credit, interest, understanding the stock market, and risk management) and to prepare students to be financially responsible adults.  The partnership has proved to be a partnership of learning, creativity and non-stop excitement. The students have enhanced their future by entwining education and the business world. Students have the chance to meet and interact with real life business leaders, which serve as a stepping-stone to their future in business.  The partnership is equally important to Synergy One Federal Credit Union and its employees. Since Synergy One is a community credit union, service to the community is one of its top priorities. Synergy One’s employees that are involved with the partnership have found it to be quite rewarding. Brentsville District High School is proud to call themselves partners with Synergy One Federal Credit Union.

        The Tiger Branch is proud to be able to contribute to Synergy One winning the State and National Desjardins Youth Financial Education Award again this year!  In addition, the partnership with BDHS and Synergy One was selected as Partnership of the Year by Partnership Prince William this year!
