2009-10 Cambridge students join "Adopt a Platoon" program.

Students in BDHS' Cambridge program have adopted a platoon stationed in Iraq. The students will provide both moral and material support for this US Army platoon that is composed of approximately 30 men and 3 women. The goal of the adopt a platoon program is to thank the young men and women who are serving in the United States military in its fight against global terrorism. The least we can do is provide words of encouragement, and some material items that these soldiers do not have access to at this point. The platoon is located in an area of Iraq without basic PX facilities. Help support our young men and women in uniform.

Anyone wanting to make donations or more information about either of these programs should email Mr. Sherrill at
sherrlj@pwcs.edu or for specifics on the adopt a platoon program send inquiries to adoptaplatoon.bdhs@gmail.com
